I was elected to the Scottish Parliament in May 2011, as a Labour MSP serving the people of Central Scotland.
I entered politics because I believe in fairness and equality of opportunity, and I aim to be a strong voice for my constituents across our communities, listening to the concerns of those I represent and acting on those concerns.
