Central Scotland is one of eight electoral regions in Scotland, covering a vast area across the Central Belt.
It includes towns such as Cumbernauld, Kilsyth, East Kilbride, Wishaw, Motherwell, Bellshill, Airdrie, Shotts, Falkirk, Hamilton, Coatbridge, Larkhall and more. It covers all of North Lanarkshire and a great proportion of the South Lanarkshire and Falkirk Council areas.
It is a vibrant, populous and diverse area and is stepped in the history of Scotland. More than 900,000 people live throughout Central Scotland.
